THE MEANING OF CYPRUS DECODED AT LONG LAST

We read in every dictionary that in Architecture, a Ciborium refers to a freestanding circular 'canopy' fixed  by four columns or supported by four pillars of a perfect square, over an altar. In architecture generally and in some churches, a ciborium describes the four sided shrine with a dome or canopy over it. It is like the covering over the sanctuary in a basilica, supported by four columns. Ciborium is said of a sacred altar supported on columns, especially when freestanding and disconnected from any enclosing wall out in the open in the middle of say an open sacred space even a sacred grove.
GIBAR/KIPAR of Sumer  It appears certain that, at Uruk, the priest-ruler, the en, spent at least one ritual night in the high-priestly residence, the gipar, "during which [period] he consummated the marriage with Inanna" (Steinkeller 1999:132).The deities entered a chamber fragrant with spices and decorated with costly draperies. Lying down on a ceremonial bed constructed for the occasion (Jacobsen 1976:38), they united in sexual intercourse (Henshaw 1994:238). Afterwards, pleased by and with her lover, Inanna decreed long life and sovereignty for him and fertility and prosperity for the land. She might also have presented him with the ring, rod, and line, emblems of royal power. The ritual over, the people celebrated in a huge festival.
(starting about 4000 B.C.) it appears certain that, at Uruk, - the High Priest 'Governor,' who was referred to as the eN, the eNth, the Ninth in the hierarchy, was the chosen male, who spent at least one ritual night in the high-priestly sacred residence, which was referred to as the gipar/ kipar. Here is where the 'Arche' was actively demonstrated. Here was a 'womb,' redesigned as a four poster with a circular canopy, similar to the above CIBORIUM, where heaven was represented as the cylinder over the cube, as in a four poster, representing the fixed, Earth. Their union, that is the UNION OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, the Heiros Gamos. Symbolically the 'Arche' represented a new beginning a creation, genesis between ABOVE and BELOW. GIBAR/KIPAR/XEPER/KHEPRE, represented the hypostasis, the sacred housing, the container. In Architecture a Ciborium, where the 'ARCHE', as a creative force, acted out  the process, the continuation of the creation between heaven and earth was acted out, in the Gibar as the sexual act was performed. So again we show that the tri-literal VERB, GBR/KPR  defines the most relevant TRUTH regarding the ontological process of LIFE. THE 'HeirosGamos' the 'Arche' the Holy Union the most sacred act of creation.  A room would be set aside with a bed, and on certain occasions the temple statues of Shamash and Aya would be brought together and laid on the bed to ceremonially renew their vows. This ceremony was also practiced by the cults of Marduk with SarpanitumNabu with Tashmetum, andAnu with Antu.

At this ritual,  the eN copulated with and consummated the marriage with Inanna (Steinkeller 1999:132). Inanna  the feminine principal had incarnated into a priestess. The likeliest candidate would be the priestess known as nin-dingir, Sumerian for The Lady, "Lady Deity" or "Lady Who Is Goddess." A man could achieve authority in Inanna's temple community at Uruk as either her "trusted servant" or her consort or both. Indeed, traditionally, the ruler of Uruk and its goddess co-habited in the gipar/Ciborium.

The "Sacred Marriage," which at first conferred authority temporarily on one man, provided the religious sanction for male exercise of power. A king of Sumer could take part only if he held the office of eN of Uruk and bore the title "spouse of Inanna" (Steinkeller 1999:130-131). We know that around 2000 BCE, the monarch of Sumer was represented by "Dumuzi" in the rite. In return, he received the authority to manipulate "the natural and human environments for greater productivity and security of the whole. Tamasos in Cyprus Damuzi in Uruk?
The Mesopotamians clearly understood Inanna to be closely connected with fecundity and fertility. The "Sacred Marriage" ritual was also central to an early Urukian harvest festival. The agricultural Sumerians metaphorically equated plowing of land with sexual intercourse (Jacobsen 1976:46).

In Greek mythology, Lotis was a nymph, daughter of Poseidon or Nereus. Priapus tried to rape her and she was changed into a lotus plant to escape him. The term Nymph a derivative of “Nymphaea” was used to designate a young women, or potential virgin bride, right for marriage. This tradition of a Holy Union was consummated in the cubical chamber with a circular cover, exactly the design of our "stand' or Ciborium above, a four poster bed was the substitute representation of an oracular temple. This was the part of an ordinary house or home consecrated to the dwelling of the wife/mistress, the sacred place.

CIBORIUM/KIBORION is the veritable Temple Of The Living God. The Holy of Holy's, or the innermost sanctuary, the Sanctum Santorum. In Architecture, a Ciborium refers to a freestanding circular 'canopy' fixed by four columns or supported by four pillars of a perfect square, over an altar. In architecture generally and in some churches, a ciborium describes the four sided shrine with a dome or canopy over it. It is like the covering over the sanctuary in a basilica, supported by four columns. Again a Ciborium is said of a sacred altar supported on four columns, especially when freestanding and disconnected from any enclosing wall out in the open in the middle of  an open sacred space, in times passed a sacred grove. As is the sacred alter of Aphrodite. The Circle Squared, The Cube+Cylinder, Heaven and Earth United. Heiros Gamos.

There are no ancient symbols, without a deep and philosophical meaning attached to them confirms Blavatsky. The LOTUS she continues, represents the abstract, and the Concrete Universes. It was held sacred from the remotest antiquity by the Aryan Hindus, the Egyptians, and the Buddhists after them. The lotus was revered in China and Japan, and adopted as a Christian emblem by the Greek and Latin Churches, who made of it a messenger of god. Speaking of messengers the Archangel Gabriel again at root (GBR). In fact the GBR of El. is the verb, the word, a central Logos of Christianity . Gabriel, the Archangel in iconography of the Annunciation is holding in his hand a spray of water lilies, (a Lotus). Gabriel as the messenger of the governing principal of life eternal makes his appearance to the Virgin Mary. This spray he is holding it is explained typifies fire and water, or the alchemists, formulaic idea of creation and regeneration, symbolizing precisely the same idea as the lotus in the hand of the Bodhisattva who announces to Maha-Maya, Gautama's mother, the birth of the world's Savior, Buddha. COPHER is the Hebrew for the Henna Flowers, it is the al-henna of the Arabs, a native of Egypt, producing clusters of small white and yellow odoriferous flowers, from which from which is processed  the 'Oleum Cyprineum.' (Oil Cyprieum). From its leaves is  made the peculiar auburn dye with which Eastern women stain their nails and the palms of their hands. It is found only at "Engedi, on the shore of the Dead Sea. It is known to botanists by the name Lawsonia alba or inermis, a kind of privet, which  grows 6 or 8 feet high. In the margin of the Authorized Version copher is referred to as 'Cypris'. Because of this reference, scholars have assumed it a reference to the conifer so called, the most highly appreciated species of this Cypress plant does not grow in the island of Cyprus. Copher is still assumed to be the origin of the name of the Island. However I posit that Cyprieum is an adjective which like Aes Cyprium is the adjective meaning, transformed, processed, metamorphosed. As we can show today, it suggests, oil made into Lawsone (hennotannic acid Lawsonia Inermis which translates to Cyprinus, as does the Carp so does the Henna flower Oil.

KYPRINOS/Cypri-nidae are the family of freshwater fishes, collectively called cyprinids, that includes the carps, the true minnows, and their relatives (for example, the barbs and barbels). Also commonly called the "carp family", or "minnow family".

Cyprinidae is the largest known fish family and the largest vertebrate animal family in general, with about 3,000 living and extinct species in about 370 genera

in Japan, the common carp was bred into the ornamental variety known as koi – or more accurately nishikigoi (錦鯉), as koi (鯉) simply means "common carp" in Japanese. The family belongs to the ostariophysian order Cypriniformes, of whose genera and species the cyprinids make more than two-thirds. The family name is derived from the Ancient Greek kyprînos (κυπρῖνος, "carp").

Hearing is a well-developed sense in the cyprinids since they have the Weberian organ, three specialized vertebral processes that transfer motion of the gas bladder to the inner ear. The vertebral processes of the Weberian organ also permit a cyprinid to detect changes in motion of the gas bladder due to atmospheric conditions or depth changes. The cyprinids are considered physostomes because the pneumatic duct is retained in adult stages and the fish are able to gulp air to fill the gas bladder, or they can dispose excess gas to the gut. The

Kyprînos/Carp/Koi fish has a powerful and energetic life force, demonstrated by its ability to swim against currents and travel upstream. The symbolic meanings for Carp/koi fish survive in the Chinese legend of the Dragons Gate in which a koi fish swims upstream, through waterfalls and other obstacles, from the sea to reach the top of the mountain. At the top of the mountain was the "Dragon Gate". When the koi finally reached the top, it metamorphosed/transmuted into a dragon, one of the most auspicious creatures in Chinese culture.

In feng shui, the koi is tied to the yin yang symbol. In fact, the black and white tear drops of the yin yang symbol are said to be representations of two koi, one male and one female. The eye of each teardrop is symbolic of the constant watchful eye of the koi. This pairing of fish is often seen outside the context of the yin yang symbol as well. For example, a pair of koi is often used as a good luck symbol for a happy marriage. The koi is also synonymous with harmony and happiness. The two yin and yang koi complete each other and create a perfect balance of the negative and positive energies of chi energy, which is the life-force of all things on earth.
