ARTICHOKE N-K N-R CYPRIOT ENKINAR 'SACRED HEART'

IN SUMERIAN ENKINAR, ENKI NR = LORD OF EARTH-LIFE IN HEAVENS LIGHT. The exact meaning of ENKI name is still uncertain: the common translation is "Lord of the Earth". The Sumerian En is translated as a title equivalent to "lord" and was originally a title given to the High Priest. Ki is translated as "earth", strictly Gi is EARTH. To be more exactly Ki should translate as EARTHLIFE or LIFE 'ON' or 'OF' or 'FROM' EARTH. There are theories that ki in this name has another origin
ENKI also connects to 'Ea' is possibly a derivation from the West-Semitic root *hyy meaning "life" also  used for "natural spring", "running water". In Sumerian E-A means "the house of water".
EnKiNaRi/Cynara/Artichoke is an ancient vegetable that is full of symbolism. Artichokes have a tender heart at their core protected by strong layers of scaly leaves - lovely characteristics that may be interpreted in a myriad of ways!  As a vegetable full of LIGHT/NURA of KI, the life force. Kinyras.
Ninhursag, means "the mother of all living", a title given to a later Hurrian goddess Kheba,                                                                      Hebat
